SGI President Sends Condolence Message to the Tongan King Amidst Undersea Eruptions Off the Coast of Tonga

The massive eruption of an underwater volcano off the coast of Tonga in the Pacific Ocean on January 15 caused tremendous damage to the island, and relief efforts are still underway.

Daisaku Ikeda recently sent a telegram of condolence to His Majesty King Tupou VI of Tonga, conveying prayers and hopes for the safety of the people of the island and for the earliest recovery of the affected areas.
