A Collection of Tributes to the Memory of Daisaku Ikeda by Chinese Scholars and Leaders
Personal tributes to the memory of Daisaku Ikeda contributed by Chinese scholars and leaders from various sectors
To commemorate the first anniversary of SGI President Daisaku Ikeda’s passing on November 15, 2023, a collection of tributes by Chinese scholars and leaders titled Eternal Legacy: Remembering Daisaku Ikeda—Building an Everlasting Bridge of Friendship has been published. The title reflects the contributors’ hope that Mr. Ikeda’s legacy will continue to inspire the people of today and future generations, fostering an eternal golden bridge of Sino-Japanese friendship. (The book is not for sale.)
The collection features 32 personal tributes to the memory of Mr. Ikeda, contributed by figures such as Wu Jianghao, Chinese ambassador to Japan; Yang Wanming, president of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries; and Cheng Yonghua, executive vice president of the China-Japan Friendship Association and former Chinese ambassador to Japan.
